2021 Buddy Program

Register today to be a Big or Little Buddy with the 2021 Buddy Program! Big Buddies will be partnered with Little Buddies, giving players a way to connect and share their love of the sport, provide some peer-to-peer coaching and encouraging each other to do their best on and off the field.

Opening Day 2021 Schedules

We're excited to kick off the 2021 softball season with sunny forecast for this Saturday, April 24! Specific schedule information was sent via email, please be sure to review your team's schedule and look for your coach when you arrive at the field Saturday. Players should come dressed in uniform with their gear, as they'll be playing a game against the other teams. The snack shack will be selling food and beverage, and the baskets and 50/50 raffle will be selling tickets throughout the day under the tent,

Join your teammates and the NYS community to kick off the 2021 softball season! Due to COVID restrictions, we are holding two separate events to maintain our numbers. The first session is for T-ball and Farm players and their families, the second session is for AAA and Minors players and their families. Please note, there is not a parade this year so please meet at the field! Safety protocols will be observed, so please wear your mask! Recommended Equipment for Players

If your player is new to softball, you're probably wondering what kind of equipment they're going to need to get started this season!  Due to COVID restrictions, sharing personal equipment is not allowed, however, NYS does provide some equipment that can be borrowed for the duration of the game. Each team will be equipped with hand sanitizer and face masks must be worn, but some players may want their own gear to avoid sharing.  All players are required to have their own glove. Nipmuc Youth Softball is committed to providing applicable skill training and opportunities to its players and participants. The Miscoe Hill School has not allowed outside organizations to utilize the gymnasiums this year due to their COVID protocols, therefore, we have found alternate locations to hold these training sessions prior to the Spring season.
