Hi NYS Families,
The NYS Board met virtually on Thursday, 3/19. All upcoming practices, clinics, and events will continue to be cancelled until further notice. We will continue to monitor the situation in hopes of making up clinics and practices later, and holding a delayed spring season when it is safe to do so. The safety of our players, coaches, and families is our top priority.
The NYS Board decided that we will create our spring season teams as scheduled on Saturday, 3/28. We will organize virtual meetings with the coaches and divide our players into teams. We will set up our website and app so that coaches will be able to communicate with their teams. And we’ll work with our coaches online to help them organize practice plans, uniforms, and other team logistics. Even though we can’t hold practices, games, and other events, we’ll do our best to make sure we are prepared and flexible so that we are ready to play when it is safe to do so.
If you have any questions, please reach out to John Di Anni, NYS President (email@example.com).
Thank you for your patience during this unprecedented time. Please stay safe and thank you!!
